Returning after a two-year hiatus, the annual Livingston Parish Fair will run October 1-9 at the Fairgrounds in Livingston Township.

The Livingston Parish Fair which is traditionally held every October in 2020 and 2021, was organized first due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ida. This is the first exhibition since 2019, and the longest break since its inception in 1937.

Lynn Sibley, president of the Livingston Parish Fair Association, told The News earlier this summer that she hopes for a “remarkable year” as the 85-year-old makes his long-awaited comeback.

In addition to the midway rides and fair food, there will be a parade, various fairs, academic and fun bowls, talent competitions, spelling bee hosted by The Livingston Parish News, and beauty pageants.

Below is a full list of scheduled events (note: some rides are subject to height requirements by the manufacturer; pay-as-you-go includes Mitchell Brothers Rides only).
