Every year for the past few years, I’ve cast digital, asking I-95 Morning Show listeners to send me pictures of their Halloween costume.
The first few years weren’t great, the costumes weren’t great, the image quality was a butt, it was simply disappointing. But this year, this year was beautiful, beautiful, very good.
Danbury residents show off creative, funny and spooky Halloween costumes
Halloween (2022) had some hits against him. It landed on Monday and it rained most of the night. However, there were more pluses, the weather was warm, Greater Danbury had a lot of free events and people used a lot of creativity for their costumes. All of the following were sent to Ethan’s Morning Show, Low & Large Dave on I-95. These people sent their photos using the I-95 Rock Mobile App.
I’ve officially become a Halloween stingy but I know a way out. For the past nine years, I’ve been pressured by my wife Erica to dress up for Halloween. This is how it goes every Halloween:
- One week ago – one month ago, Erica asked me what couples uniforms should we do.
- I say “I don’t know”.
- Offer many suggestions.
- I agree with one of them.
- Halloween arrives, I dress up at home and say no.
- She gets upset and has to figure something out at the last minute.
This is every year, without fail and we need to get off the hamster wheel. I need a few years of Halloween dress up, and then I’ll be back with a vengeance. First, a couples costume limits your options. Second, the couples outfit is always like this, the lady is a sexy princess, and the guy is a fat and scary goblin. If this is about being something I want to be, other than me, I’ll be Matthew McConaughey. This is the only person, other than me, that I would like to be for a day.
If you want to share photos, text, audio or video messages with us (I-95 Morning Show), download the I-95 Rock Mobile App, make a name for the screen and go. The application can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the App store.

Stalking in Hat City – Halloween is Deer Hill Street in Danbury
The Halloween experience in Danbury, CT revolves around Deer Hill Avenue. Police block the street, homeowners go to great lengths to decorate their homes and thousands of trick-or-treaters line the street each year in search of candy. Despite some rain, 2022 looked to be another successful Halloween on the DHA. My wife Erica and I brought our daughter Vida (the zombie) to enjoy the spooky experience.
