The perfect wavelength for dogs, experienced Maddie and Archie.
Dogs are people’s best friends, and so we should be with them. But dogs’ gentle natures have plenty of room for others, too.
They make friendships with other dogs that can never be obliterated. (Connor and Phoebe have spent a decade with each other and have become as a long-married couple: they sometimes fight, but are very loyal especially when the weather gets cold.) Dogs often bump into members of other pet types, particularly with their own. They are supposed to be human enemies in the cat world.
Here is a collection to mark the friendships that dogs form. It is a tribute to dogs’ inherent socialization and the beauty they bring to life of all kinds. Go and have fun!
Stewie and Louie meet each other occasionally, and fall into an easy friendship.
Thanks everyone for submitting photos. Please email me your pet photos, or send me a message via Quad Facebook page is good. Help keep Furry Friday free of embarrassing mistakes by remembering to include your pet’s name and gender if it’s not obvious!
Ottie and Emma are two sisters, who share laughter and a worldly vibe as they stroll around together.
Nico, Messi, Clover and Crystal are the Three Musketeers. (Forgive them, their accounts are not the best.)
Arrangement as handsome as you could hope: Stripey with Kimber.
Laila and Milo coincided their happiness.
Meet CJ and Riley, the friendly border guards (Colli).
You’ll see a lot of Maggie and Billy at Furry Friday because their smiles are so cheerful!

The Dog Happiness Committee meeting attended by Billy, Cooley and Connor. Which general business items?
Charlie, Lola and Louis absolutely love your jokes. Now they might have a cure?
It took a lot of serious effort, but Riley, Taka, and Bella finally arranged themselves symmetrically, somewhat.
For Dax and Nero (left), friendship means not having to say sorry for turning you into a chair; For Blaize and Finley, it means sniffing as a team.
Bedtime companions: Nippes and Haggis (left), Scooter and Fred.
Trevor and Betty and their companion (unnamed) make up the fellowship of the towel.
Happy and groovy travelers: Susie and Eddie (left), Kimberly with Maisie and Mighty, and back-seat buddies Floyd Winston.
Warmth is a great social lubricant. Jenny, Miranda, and Pink feel common goals in the sun.
Perhaps the biggest bond is between dogs on the beach. I didn’t keep track of the names of these fetchers and chasers but it didn’t seem to matter – they are a perfect symbol of joy.
A while ago, Riley and Rocky were in a nursing home. Now, maybe one of them is your dog…or both?
That special relationship that exists between a cat and a dog who share a home that Floyd and Molly enjoy.
Featured Partners: Marcy and Heidi (left), Eddie and Lola.
Sometimes, perhaps temporarily, the dog can play a protective role in the house: the pair on the left, unfortunately, is unnamed due to a file management malfunction; Then there’s Oke and RuPaul; And Obi and Odin.
Arlo and Lily (left) are in the middle of a dance path; Baxter and whiskey get to know each other better.
Oken’s pal is a cat named Jenkins. It feels peaceful and easy. (Earworm is my gift to you).
Fourteen week old puppy Frankie is currently the size of her friend Lou the Rabbit, but things will change quickly.
Jesse (left) is the proud stepmother of a pair of baby bunnies; Bella takes good care of Birdie, whose life so far is a true story. A truck driver found him stuck in his nest in the middle of the road. Birdie grew up in the driver’s house for a while, then was re-housed in the care of a Furry Friday reader. She says Birdie loves belly scratches (although he bites and paws in ecstasy), is a great hunter and forager, who yells at random things (but isn’t afraid of anything) and loves to splash.
Higgins and Kefa also have a special relationship – a son and mom.
Walnut and Kismet have appeared on Furry Friday several times. I hope we continue to enjoy their presence.
Heat participants: Paddington and Montgomery (left), Fletcher and Pepper.
Zorro and Zeus are two brothers who are a little tired of being at the end of every alphabet queue. So I moved them in order a little bit.
Remy and Maggie showed that the French and the British could be intimate allies.
Did I say we saw a lot of Maggie and Bailey? Well, that’s right. Look, it’s them again.
Amidst the voluminous warm jellyfish is the fluffy miniature of a cupcake.
Morph and Penny Lane make a common plea: Should we go home already? We’re not even properly messy. RIP PennyLane.
Finally, a viewpoint to take with you on the weekend: the happiness of Flynn and Andy – son and mother.
