Boardman, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) — Stacey M. Varga, 42, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct.
4, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boardman surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Gary S. Yankowski and Joyce M Yankowski (Macovtiz), Stacey was born on January 21, 1980, in Youngstown, Ohio.
She attended St. Annes Catholic School and graduated in 1998 from Canfield High School where she was a member of the French swimming team and club and cheerleading in her early years at school. Her artistic work was one of her many talents, as she was an outstanding artist. She has also been in several beauty pageants, and has been the Little Miss Trumbull County Fair for two years in a row.
Stacy also attended YSU and Kent State Radiology and graduated from Choffin Career Center with a degree in Surgery. She has worked in many local hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic where she excelled everywhere she worked with great passion. Not afraid to work hard and have a great work ethic, she first got her start at Chuckie Cheese at the age of 16.
Growing up I enjoyed being at the Mahoning County 4H Rabbit Breeding Club and exhibiting it every year at the Canfield Fair. Besides rabbits, she loved dogs even though they were out of her life.
Stacy has enjoyed traveling, going to Italy twice with a number of family cruises throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. Her last trip was to New Orleans with her family.
She enjoyed camping at Lakeside Campgrounds and spending time jet-skiing on the lake with her family and friends.
Besides her artwork, she was a very literal figure and a wonderful decorator, but her greatest joy in life was her son Dylan whom she has always been proud of because he is her world.
Stacey also loved crocheting blankets as gifts for other people. She loved to play with her hair and braid it. She loved spending time with family and friends and had an amazing ability to make others feel comfortable when she saw that they weren’t. Her infectious smile and laughter would light up the darkest room as soon as she entered.
She was her husbands’ soul mate, which made him a better man. He’s the man he is today because of her. Stacy was smart, kind, brave, and most importantly, the most loving and caring woman in the world. She will never be forgotten and her family will carry on her legacy.
